When do I get paid?
Monthly, NET-30, via PayPal or Wise — you pick at application time. We pay out at the start of each month for the prior month's earnings.
Minimum payout threshold is $50. Anything below rolls over to the next cycle, so your first payout might span two or three months of activity depending on your volume.
What happens during the trial period?
Every new SYND account starts with a 14-day Pro trial, and users can take a one-time 7-day no-cost extension when the initial trial ends — up to 21 days total.
No commission accrues during the trial window. You only earn once the referred user converts to a paid subscription — Collector or Pro — after the trial ends.
This protects you and us: we're not paying out on trial users who never convert, and you're not stuck with a flood of "soft" credits that vanish on day 15.
Are the commissions lifetime?
Yes. You earn for as long as your referred user keeps paying — no 12-month cap, no 24-month cap, no churn clause.
If a user pays SYND for five years, you earn from us for five years.
How do the Partner brackets work — and can my commission rate ever go down?
Partner commission is tied to your cumulative paid referrals: 1–25 refs = 30%, 26–100 = 40%, 101–250 = 50%, 251+ = 60%.
When you cross a threshold, the new rate applies retroactively to your entire active referral book — every paying ref of yours moves up to the new rate going forward. The previously-paid earnings rows in your ledger stay at the rate they were paid at (no clawbacks); from the crossing date forward, everything settles at the new rate.
The ladder is a one-way ratchet. Even if some referrals churn and your cumulative count drops below a threshold, your commission rate does not decrease. Your rate can only go up.
What's the deal with the free Collector account for Affiliates?
It's a performance unlock, not a signup bonus. Once you have 3 active paid referrals on your code, your own SYND account is comped to the Collector tier on the house.
If your active count drops back below 3 (refunds, churn), the comp pauses — symmetric with how it unlocked. You can still use SYND on the free tier in the meantime, and the comp re-activates as soon as you're back to 3.

Can I promote SYND on TikTok Shop?
SYND is a digital subscription (sold through the App Store and Google Play), not a physical product — so it doesn't run through TikTok Shop's marketplace flow.
But you can absolutely use TikTok content — organic or paid — to drive signups. Your referral code goes in your bio, pinned comment, or on-screen overlay, and we track every paid conversion it generates. Same applies to YouTube, Instagram, Threads, X, and Discord.
What disclosures do I need to make?
If you're earning commission on a referral, FTC rules (and equivalents in the UK, EU, Singapore, and most other markets) require you to disclose it. #ad or #affiliate in the caption, or a verbal disclosure on video, is the standard. Don't get cute with it — clarity protects you.
What happens to my commission if a user refunds or charges back?
A reversal entry is written against the matching commission line. If the refund happens before that payout cycle closes, it nets out; if after, it's deducted from your next payout.
I'm not in the US. Can I still join?
Yes — SYND is available globally and we pay creators in any country that PayPal or Wise supports. NET commission is calculated against whatever the user actually paid SYND in their local currency, not a hardcoded USD figure.
